  • Ali Zafar honoured with Cultural Icon Award by New York Police Department

    The New York Police Department (NYPD) has honoured Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar with the Cultural Icon Award in recognition of his global contributions to music, the arts, and humanitarian work.

    Sharing the news on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Ali Zafar expressed gratitude to the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society (PALS), which presented the award during its 10th anniversary dinner in New York.

    The award plaque praised Zafar as “a versatile maestro whose voice and vision have shaped the sound of a generation.”

    Acknowledging his role in promoting Pakistan’s image worldwide, the NYPD and PALS noted, “We honor his profound role in elevating Pakistani arts to the global stage.”

    Ali recently stunned the audiences and viewers with his performance, style, and fashion at the 2025 HUM Awards.

    He shared a carousel of photos showing him surrounded with love.

    Taking to the caption, he said, “What a week it’s been.
    Nothing but gratitude
    Houston to Miami, and them Miami to New York.

    Zafar also added in the caption, “Next stop L.A to shoot video for the next big collaboration,” making his friends and fans more intrigued as he hinted towards something big coming up.
