Aagha Ali has once again become the center of social media chatter after a fan likened his latest look to Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi.
As reported by Galaxy Lollywood, the comparison surfaced when Aagha shared a series of pictures flaunting his physique, prompting one fan page to draw similarities between him and Hashmi.
The Pakistani actor, who has largely stayed away from the spotlight following his separation from actress Hina Altaf, responded to the remark.
However, his reply sparked a wave of online reactions with many netizens mercilessly trolling him.
One Facebook user joked: “Emraan Hashmi doesn’t even have abs,” dismissing the resemblance. Another wrote, “Why does he always give off negative vibes?”
Some comments were far harsher. A user accused him of “spreading vulgarity under the guise of showing abs.”
Critics also pointed out a double standard, arguing that female actors are often shamed for revealing outfits, while Aagha openly flaunted his body.
Meanwhile, others questioned the constant urge to draw comparisons with Indian celebrities, stressing that not everything needs to be measured against Bollywood icons.
This sparked further debate on whether Pakistani actors should be held to the same standard as their Indian counterparts.
Interestingly, the fan who originally compared Aagha Ali to Emraan Hashmi was suspected by some users to be a fangirl using a fake ID.
