  • Asma Abbas Becomes Victim of WhatsApp Scam

Asma Abbas revealed that her WhatsApp account was hacked, and messages requesting money were sent to many people in her contact list.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a video explaining how her account was compromised and apologized to everyone who received the messages.

Abbas expressed her sadness that such scams have become increasingly common in the country.

She explained that she initially received a call asking for her address, claiming a parcel was to be delivered.

She assumed it was something sent by her daughter, Zara Noor Abbas.

The callers then requested a code, which she provided, thinking it was for the delivery. Shortly afterward, her WhatsApp was shut down.

She assured her fans that she is completely fine and does not need any money, but expressed concern for those who received the fraudulent messages.

Her sister, Bushra Ansari, also took to Instagram, posting a screenshot of a conversation from the hacked WhatsApp account.

She advised viewers not to trust any messages received from Asma’s number.
