    Japan's ruling party nominated Yoshihide Suga for Premiership.

    According to British News Agency the ruling party has nominated Yoshihide Suga for Prime Minister Post after the resignation of Prime Minister Shinzo abe, the voting process is also underway to select new Prime Minister.

    Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo abe had resigned from post last month due health issues, after which the nominated Yoshihide Suga has bright chances to become Prime Minister.

    According to British Media the 71 Year old Suga is serving as Chief Cabinet in current adminisration, he has been considered as close ally of Ex-Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, raising the possibilty of becoming Prime minister, Suga may also continue Shenzu's Policy in case of becoming Prime Minister.

    According to media reports two other candidates are also contesting the elections along with him, Former Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, who was serving as Foreign Minister in Shinzo abe's Cabinet, is one of them. Kishida was heading the research council from last three years which was researching on party policy.

    Third candedate for Premiership is Shigeru Ishiba who was also appointed as Minister for defense in Shinzo abe's earlier Cabinet.
