    Peshawar Zalmi beat Islamabad United by 7 runs according to the Duckworth-lewis method at Pindi Cricket Stadium.

    However, Tom Banton is batting at 20 along with Haider Ali who is at 16. Zalmi are 85/2 after five nine overs as rain has interrupted the play.

    Captain Shadab Khan 42-ball 77 guided Islamabad United to 195-5 in 20 overs. The 21-year-old smashed five fours and four massive sixes and is the highest six-hitter of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five.
    He along with Colin Munro added 67 for the third-wicket stand. Munro scored back to back fifty and departed after scoring 52. Colin Ingram also added his part and scored 25-ball 41, which included two sixes and a four.

    Zalmi started the proceeding by removing Luke Ronchi in the first over, later in the fifth over Hasan Ali got the wicket of Rizwan Hussain. Hasan Ali was the pick of the bowler claiming two for 36 in four overs. Rahat, Wahab Riaz, and Carlos Braithwaite picked a wicket each.

    Earlier Zalmi won the toss and opted to bowl first in the 20th fixture of the tournament.
