  • Asian 6-Red ball Snooker: Pakistani cueists advancing with victories

    All the three cueists of Pakistan are constantly advancing with victories in Asian Six-Red Ball Snooker Championship, while Mohammed Bilal has qualified for knock-out round after winning all four matches of grou-C, whereas Mohammed Asif and Babar Maseeh won three matches each.

    Six Red-Ball Snooker Championship is being held in Abu Dhabi, in which Mohammed Bilal defeated UAE Mohammed Al-Falasi and Bahrain cueist Habib Sabah in group matches on the first day, while on the second day, Mohammed Bilal defeated Saudi Arabian cueist Umar Alajlani by 5-3 frames, whereas in the fourth match of group-C, Bilal defeated Mohammed Jadullah by 5-1 and qualified for knock-out round.

    Bilal will have to face Iranian cueist Sohail Ahadi in last group match.

    Former World and Asian Champion Mohammed Asif outclassed Bahrain’s cueist Ayad Al-Ansari and UAE cueist Essa Ali Al-Hashmi by 5-0.

    Asif secured victory against Mohammed Raees of Afghanistan by 5-2 frames.

    Babar Maseeh had to fight for the whole nine frames against Bahrain’s cueist Mohammed Jinahi, in which Babar secured victory by 5-4.

    Babar Maseeh also defeated Sri Lankan Mohammed Mubeen and UAE cueist Mohammed Al-Juker by 5-1.
