Indian tennis star Sania Mirza updated her Instagram feed on Sunday with a set of pictures coupled with an unexpected caption.
The sports biggie is not only famous for her illusturious career but also for her activity on social media, especially the Meta-owned picture and video-sharing platform as she keeps her fans and followers engaged by frequently dropping posts.
However, her latest pictures left some of her fans wondering about what the post meant or what the athlete was up to.
The post comprising three pictures of the 37-year-old celebrity was captioned as "beating the heat".
Though the caption reasoned with the first picture which featured Sania sipping coconut water from a straw pierced into the fruit, but fans were surprised because it is winter season in most parts of the world.
Rest of the pictures were Sania's closeups, one of her flipping her trademark ponytail and the other with her tennis racquet.
Reacting to the pictures, an Instagram user said it is winter in India, while another wrote "Bhai winter mai be summer, ye tu latest news hai [Brother summer in winters? This is a breaking news."
However, if we zoom out in the first picture, we would see some equipment and some crew in Sania's background. Although the picture's background is blurred because Sania has been focused, the picture hints that the sports star might be shooting for a commercial ad or something similar.
Interestingly, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has also commented on the post with a chilli emoji.
The pictures of the fan-favourite celebrity garnered nearly 28,000 likes and hundreds of comments within hours of being posted.
