The office of Aaj TV came under bomb attacks in Gurumandir area of Karachi. Two persons suffered injuries because of the explosion, and the entrance to the building was reportedly damaged.
The situation in the area was described as tense immediately after the attacks. Squads of law enforcement agencies and the Bomb Disposal Squad were called to the site.
An un-exploded bomb was recovered from parking area of Waqt News offices, which is also located in the same area. According to Superintendent Police Jamshed Town both attacks were perpetrated by the same group.
