The name of Dr Asim has been removed from Exit Control List (ECL) and Interior Ministry has issued the notification in this connection.
Dr Asim had submitted a petition requesting removal of his name from ECL so he could travel to another country. Supreme Court accepting the petition had ordered his name be removed from ECL.
Interior Ministry implemented the apex court’s decision and removed Dr Asim’s name from ECL for one month.
