Muttahida Qoumi Movement (MQM) Rabta Committee leader Amir Khan said that efforts are being made to eliminate the party but the MQM cannot be eliminated.

Addressing a press conference Amir Khan said that the MQM workers were being targeted on regular basis while security agencies have failed to contain the deteriorating law and order situation.

He alleged that MQM was being subjected to state terrorism, adding that the government's patronage of Lyari gangsters must come to an end.

Amir Khan said that the terrorists especially those involved in Lyari gang war, enjoy support from the agencies and they kill the Urdu speaking people.

Amir Khan said that the city has been left on the mercy of terrorists who are working under government support, adding nine MQM workers have been assassinated in July so far.

He demanded of the President, Governor Sindh and Prime Minister to order urgent operation against gang war groups and terrorist organizations.
