Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) demanding resignation of interior minister Chaudhary Nisar sought formation of national security committee over the police torture on political workers.
Addressing a joint conference along with opposition leader Khursheed Shah, Farhatullah Babar, Sherin Rehman, senator Aitzaz Ahsan said that PPP has strongly condemned police torture on PTI workers n Islamabad and it was the worst example of ineligibility of government as PPP would play its opposition role at each forum.
” PPP does not want to save government but wants to protect democracy, however PPP has complete agreement with PIT on Panama bill,” senator said.
Talking on the occasion opposition leader Khursheed Shah said that PPP always did politics of parliament and did not want bloodshed in the country as Pakistan had already witnessed lot of blood.
” Government stubborn over the Panama issue but PPP wants to decide the issue legally,” he said.
