Significant developments were made during the interrogation of Lyari gangwar head Uzair Baloch Thursday. Baloch revealed the names of 10 key operatives of Lyari gangwar’s women wing.
According to the investigation sources, the 10 women wing of gangwar revealed by Baloch include Yasmeen, Fatima, Gul Bibi, Quratulain, Nabila, Sameera, Malika and Samreen.
These women used to act as facilitators for the gangwar. Sources say the women of the militant group were used during extortion and delivery of ammunition. The female operatives’ wing was used for disposing the dead bodies in various areas after murder.
Baloch further revealed that money collected by extortion is handed over to a woman named Annie.
Investigative sources say that action shall soon be launched against Lyari gangwar’s women wing.
