A case of attack on Rangers personnel in Baldia Town has been registered in Ittehad Town police station.
The case was registered under sections of murder and attempt to murder, while clauses of anti-terrorism act were also included in the FIR.
Yesterday, four Rangers personnel were martyred in a gun attack on the paramilitary’s troops in Baldia Town area of Karachi.
A senior police official said that at least four gunmen on three bikes targeted the personnel, who were performing security duties outside a local mosque.
Forensic report of the evidences found at the crime scene suggested that same weapons were used in the killing of Awami National Party local leader Saifullah Khan.
