K-Electric’s glitches following wind gust on Sunday night tripped most of the feeders in several areas however, authorities have said that technical faults have been fixed.
Power supply to several areas has not been restored until filing of this report. However, K-Electric authorities said that technical faults have been fixed. The affected areas include Landhi, Korangi, Gulistan Johar, Federal B Area, North Nazimabad, Malir, Baldia, Old City Area and Sachal.
The people said that rains turn weather pleasant but administration’s slackness ruins it. The affectees said that K-Electric’s officials do mere lip service and nothing else.
On the other hand, K-Electric spokesperson said that emergency response team (ERT) had restored power supply to different areas within an hour of outage. However, he said that teams are working to fix glitches in the remaining areas.
