  • Denouncing the act: CM condemns Shikarpur incident

    KARACHI: The Sindh chief minister syed Qaim ali shah, has taken notice of the incident in Shikarpur, in which eight members of a family were killed by assailants due to an old enmity. 

    CM directed officials to take action against the perpetrators and to provide legal aid to the affected family.
    He condemned the incident and dubbed it one of the worst examples of brutality, he added that such incidents create insecurity among citizens, especially among those living in rural areas.
    He also expressed concern over the rampant violations of basic human rights in the province and offered her condolences to the bereaved family.
    CM said that the provincial human rights department has been working on the prevention of such incidents by arranging awareness seminars, public gatherings and training courses.
