A convicted in triple murder case has been sent to gallows early morning (today) in central jail Multan.
The man named Ghazanfar Abbass had killed three of his close relatives on personal enmity 22 years ago in Jalalpur area in 1993 and session court had awarded him death sentence thrice a time, while all higher judiciary retained his death sentence.
The condemned prisoner then sent mercy appeal to the president and it was rejected. The session court Multan had issued death warrants for May 10 for his execution and subsequently he was hanged early morning.
The body was handed over to his family after legal formalities.
