    Five high valued terrorists were killed in Rajanpur and Muzzafargarh as a result of joint operation conducted by intelligence agencies, police and Anti Terrorism Department (ATD).

    Ten terrorists have been killed in South Punjab during one week’s time, whereas the number of wanted terrorists killed during the past month has reached 30. These terrorists were involved in various activities of terrorism in various parts of the country.

    67 facilitators of terrorists have also been apprehended during one month’s time.

    15 people have been arrested as a result of joint operations conducted in Lahore and its adjoining areas after the Gulshan Iqbal Park attack. Those arrested have been moved to undisclosed location for further interrogation.

    Operations against terrorists were hastened upon the instructions of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif following the horrific attack at Lahore’s Gulshan Iqbal Park on Sunday that claimed the lives of 74 and injured over 300.
