Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities concerned to expedite the work on development projects in Punjab, started by PML-N government during its previous tenure.

Chairing a meeting to review the ongoing development projects of Punjab in Lahore on Sunday, the Prime Minister expressed dismay that previous PTI government deliberately stopped Punjab's journey to progress.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Punjab was ruled by an incompetent Chief Minister for four years.

He said that several public welfare projects remained suspended during former PTI rule. He directed to complete all those suspended projects at the earliest.

The meeting was briefed regarding Imamia Colony Flyover project. The Prime Minister directed to complete the project for public use at the earliest. The meeting was also told about a proposed project to build a Lahore Sialkot Motorway Link Road to facilitate citizens of Gujranwala.

The Prime Minister directed to form a three member Committee which will brief about the proposed project during the next meeting.
