    A woman police officer became the first-ever female to be appointed as a ‘muharrar’ at a police station in Dir district.

    According to details, for the first time a lady head constable has been appointed as a Muharrar at a police station, in Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. District Police Officer, Dir has issued orders of appointing lady head constable Rehmat Jehan as a Muharrar at police station.

    She said it was her ambition to reach to the posts of SHO and DSP and serve the people, especially helpless women, adding she never felt any hesitation or fear to work in the male-dominated society like Dir and Chitral.
