Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan's desire to further strengthen all-weather strategic partnership with China.
He was talking to Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, who called on him in Islamabad today.
Highlighting the positive trajectory of bilateral relationship of the two countries, the Prime Minister also underscored the importance of people-to-people contacts as well as exchanges between political parties and parliaments of the two countries.
The Ambassador handed over a letter from President Xi Jinping, conveying appreciation for the Prime Minister's letter on the occasion of 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
Matters related to bilateral cooperation and regional issues of mutual interest also came under discussion.
