    Prime Minister Imran Khan is likely to visit China on October 8 in a bid to gather more diplomatic support against India’s forced annexation of occupied Kashmir besides garnering more Chinese investments in Pakistan.


    The premier would meet top Chinese leadership and would attend several other events, including the forthcoming meeting of China-Pakistan Business Forum being held in Beijing on October 8.

    “We are in touch with the Chinese government and the details of the premier’s visit are being finalised. We will share the details with the media once the schedule is finalised,” the source added.

    According to China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the premier is planning to attend the China-Pakistan Business Forum in Beijing in his third visit to China after coming to power.

    This will be Khan's third visit to China after coming to power in August 2018, The News International reported on Tuesday. Khan paid his first official visit to China and attended the China International Import Expo held in Shanghai in November 2018.

    China-Pakistan Business Forum is being jointly organised by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Pakistan Embassy in Beijing. The forum aims to promote economic and trade exchanges and practical cooperation between the two
