Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah said the peace talks hold no meaning following the attack in Karachi.
Addressing media in Sukkur, Khursheed Shah said his party supported the government to hold talks with the Taliban despite criticism from several political parties.
PPP leader Shah lamented that the peace talks were useless following the recent terrorist attacks across the country. He said democracy would not be derailed at any cost.
He said Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif should take a firm decision on this sensitive issue like a true leader, adding that the PPP would completely support the government whatever decision it takes to curb terrorism.
