Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday said that Foreign Minister should stop making people fool over the South Punjab province, the resolution of the formation of South Punjab province was proposed by PML-N in the National Assembly.

As per details, Ahsan Iqbal in response to Shah Mehmood’s statement said that he should stop making people fool on the name of South Punjab province as it was proposed by PML-N previously.

“PML-N’s bill is already pending in standing committee,” he said.

“Rather than bringing a new bill for formation of new provinces the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led government should speed up the work on pending bills,” he added.

Former Interior Minister said that the previously proposed bill by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is already on the record and that bill was opposed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) itself and its parliamentary secretary.

“PML-N is the only party that fulfills its promises with the masses,” he further added.

“PTI is continuously stealing projects initiated by PML-N and busy in gaining popularity by renaming our proposed resolution with their name,” said Ahsan Iqbal.

He recalled the promise of PTI of forming a new province in 100 days.
