    Federal Minister Interior Aijaz Shah on Wednesday called on Chinese ambassador wherein Pakistan China relations, regional security situation, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), including matters of mutual interest also discussed in the meeting.

    The meeting which was held in the interior ministry, at the occasion, the Chinese ambassador said that Pakistan is a peaceful country adding that security situation in the country in the last few years.

    The Chinese ambassador also vehemently condemned the Lahore blast killing 10 people including four police personnel and the ambassador also condoled on the deaths to the Pakistani nation in the horrific incident.

    The ambassador lauded Pakistan’s role in development projects related to the CPEC.

    Talking on the occasion, the Interior Minister Aijaz Shah said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted the eradication of poverty and promotion of education in the country.

    The Minister also apprised the ambassador that Pakistan has provided to as many as 175 countries access to tourism in the country adding that giving tourism access to the world is the milestone for the country.
