Two officials of the Supreme Court (SC) were suspended on Wednesday in connection with the immediate provision of the verdict citing release of the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from Kot Lakhpat jail.
According to details, SC official Ali from Islamabad registry and the other person Shehzad who belonged to Lahore registry were suspended for sending the verdict to Lahore at21:00 pm.
The verdict was delivered after court hours ending in the afternoon at 15:30 and the verdict was sent to Lahore at 21:00, leading to the release of Nawaz Sharif, late in the night at 00:45Am.
