  • Women can fearlessly wage struggle for their rights in today's Pakistan: Zartaj Gul

    Minister for Climate Change Ms. Zartaj Gul has said that today's Pakistan is a changed Pakistan in which women can fearlessly wage struggle for their rights.

    She was speaking as chief guest in a poetic gathering organized by FM 101 channel of Radio Pakistan in connection with the International Women's Day.

    Zartaj Gul said that the Pakistani women have even won Oscars Award and Nobel Prize at the dint of their proactive role in the society.

    She said Islam believes in gender equality and has described men and women two wheels of a vehicle. She said that Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) stood in respect whenever his daughter, Fatima Tuz Zuhra came to him.

    Zartaj Gul urged the women in higher positions to work for the rights of those women who are deprived of their rights.
