Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Lahore on a day-long visit on Sunday.
According to the details, PM Imran Khan will land at Lahore airport around 2 pm and would chair a high level meeting at the Chief Minister House.
During his visit, the prime minister would hold separate meetings with Punjab chief minister and governor.
The prime minister would be briefed on police reforms and the investigations of Sahiwal incident, said sources.
Earlier, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, on January 21, had promised reforms in Punjab police after the Sahiwal incident and had said anyone found guilty will be given an “exemplary punishment.”
In a tweet, earlier this morning, the incumbent premier said the grief and anger of the people of Pakistan over the Sahiwal incident was understandable & justified.
“I assure the nation that when I return from Qatar not only will the guilty be given exemplary punishment, but I will review the entire structure of Punjab police & start process of reforming it,” he had added.
