Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeemul Haq on Sunday said that members of the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz have often been sending messages for leniency in cases against them.
Speaking to a private TV Channel, Haq repeated the claim made several times by PTI and said sending messages asking for deals is indeed an “NRO”.
Government ministers, including Prime Minister Imran Khan, on multiple occasions have said that opposition members facing corruption probe are trying to look for a deal to escape punishment. Opposition has categorically denied claims that they have approached PTI or anyone for a deal.
On Thursday, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said those claiming that PML-N leaders have asked for a deal regarding various cases are liars.
