Prime Minister s Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz met Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi.
A spokesman of the Foreign Office in Islamabad said that the two sides discussed Pakistan-India relations and possibilities for resumption of dialogue process between the two countries to resolve outstanding issues.
Aziz, who is here to attend the 11th Asia-Europe Foreign Minister (ASEM) conference, had on Tuesday held meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid.
During the meeting between Khurshid and Aziz on the margins of the ASEM meet, India told Pakistan that its "sentiments and sensitivities" have to be respected for meaningful dialogue.
The two stressed the need for their DGMOs to meet at an early date and discuss ways to retain peace and tranquillity along the Line of Control.
