Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal has said CPEC is an oxygen for the Pakistani Economy, relations of the both country are at new peaks.
Addressing at Boao Furm in Beijing, he said investment in sectors of energy and infrastructure has improved economy, all parties and the provincial governments of Pakistan supporting CPEC.
Projects of public interests also started along with infrastructure projects, Ahsan Iqbal said. He further added CPEC will help to develop backward areas of Pakistan.He said that prime object of Pakistan 2025 Vision is to eliminate poverty, Gwadar port will be number one port of Asia.
Federal Minister said that 9 industrial zones of CPEC will create jobs for the masses. CPEC is the unique project.Earlier, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi reached in China to lead Pakistan delegation at Boao Forum Annual Conference for Asia.
According to Foreign Office Spokesperson, main theme of the conference is “An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of greater Prosperity”.The Prime Minister will be one of the keynote speakers at the Forum along with President Xi Jinping, and other leaders attending the Annual Forum.
Chinese newspaper “People’s Daily”, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said together with China, Pakistan will be made a major contributor to building a community of shared future for mankind through China Pakistan Economic Corridor.He said the energy projects conceived under CPEC have alleviated energy crisis in Pakistan and thousands of megawatts of electricity has been added to the national grid.
