    The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited the Pak-Afghan border at Torkham on Friday where he was briefed over the erection of barbed wire along the border, military media wing ISPR said in its release.

    According to ISPR Army Chief was welcomed warmly by corps commander Peshawar lieutenant General Nazir Butt at his arrival at border area.

    The Army Chief was briefed over the installation of barbed wire and security arrangements at Torkham border. Army Chief has expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements at Pak-Afghan border.

    During the visit army chief has also met with Tribal Jirga at Landi Kotal FC cant and he was apprised over the issues faced by the people of the area.

    Army Chief assured him to resolve their problems on urgent basis.
