    Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq on Saturday said that JI was against the corruption of both the government and opposition, saying that those who owned off-shore banks accounts were also talking against corruption.

    Addressing the two-day general workers convention of Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab, Sirajul Haq said that JI was the actual and real protector of the country. He said that JI would bring real change in the country, saying that it would make an Islamic and prosperous Pakistan.

    The JI chief said that if people voted the party to power, it would build the country on the pattern of State of Madina.

    He announced that the JI would launch campaign against oppression and corruption in the country. The JI chief lashed out the rulers for their failure to resolve masses problems, saying that billions of rupees were being spent on their security.

    He said that a thief could not hold another another thief accountable.

    Haq said that recently the nation witnessed the intra-party elections of four major parties and office-bearers of all the parties were elected unopposed. He demanded of the ECP to monitor the intra-party elections of political parties.
