President Asif Ali Zardari and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are holding talks in New York on Monday on bilateral relations and regional situation
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and Pakistan's ambassador to the United States Shery Rehman will accompany the president during the meeting.
Earlier‚ talking to the newsmen in New York‚ Ambassador Massod Khan said the president will also hold talks with Chines president Hu Jin Tao on the sidelines of the General Assembly sessin.
President Zardari will address the UN General Assembly on Tuesday and will highlight Pakistan's concern on the blasphemous film made by an American besides highlighting other regional and international issues.
The ambassador said the film had affected the sentiments of Muslims and President Zardari will utilize the opportunity during his address to highlight Pakistan s concern.
Ambassador Massod Khan said the United Nations should play its role for safeguarding international peace. He said the president will also speak about the fragile security situation in the region during his speech.
