Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhary has said that American policy is creating an imbalance of power in the region while terrorists not only take shelter in Afghan refugee camps but they also make recruitment from there.

We don’t want any war but want border management at Torkham because terrorists want to use it as a point.

He, however, rejected news Pakistan handing over its territory to Afghanistan.

The foreign secretary said this while briefing the joint meeting of the Sentate Standing Committee for Foreign and Defense Affairs chaired by Senator Mushahid Hussain and Senator Nuzhat Sadiq.

The meeting is also attended by advisor Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, and Secretary Defense Alam Khattak.

Aizaz informed that Richard Olson has been intimated about Pakistan’s concerns.

America has itself accepted that talks are the only solution of Afghan issue and Pakistan will continue supporting the Afghan peace process.

Pakistan has been magnanimous now it is time to ensure peaceful repatriation of Afghan refugees, he added.
