Arrested suspect in Imran Farooq murder case, Mohsin Ali has confessed to have murdered Muttahida Qaumi Movement‘s (MQM) Dr Imran Farooq along with his aide Kashif.
Mohsin made key confessions before Scotland Yard’s investigation team. He said that Moazzam Ali played a role of an aide in the murder. Mohsin is likely to be handed over to Britain authorities after his confessions.
The Yard’s team investigated Mohsin in the federal capital for two days in third and final phase of the ongoing Imran Farooq murder case investigations.
The questions asked by the team were put together in light of the earlier investigations of Khalid Shameem and Moazzam Ali. Mohsin revealed that another person named Kashif who played a role in the incident. He said that Moazzam helped him and Kashif financially for their London tour.
He further said that Moazzam also waited for them at Karachi airport on their return from London.
The team said that the investigations from the three culprits are completed. In case they need information, only joint investigation team (JIT) would be contacted.
