Russian and Pakistani experts have discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in information sovereignty and cybersecurity.
The discussions took place during a hybrid Russian-Pakistani roundtable jointly organised by the Russian International Affairs Council, the National University of Sciences and Technology and Moscow State Institute of International Relations on August 18.
The meeting brought together senior academics, diplomats and cybersecurity experts from Russia and Pakistan, including representatives of RIAC, NUST, MGIMO, the Russian Embassy in Islamabad and Positive Technologies.
Participants outlined the cybersecurity priorities of Moscow and Islamabad and highlighted significant potential for greater bilateral cooperation in the field.
The experts also stressed the importance of expanding academic and professional exchanges, including through joint research initiatives, to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in cybersecurity and related areas.
