    A significant number of Afghan nationals residing illegally in Pakistan have initiated a mass repatriation process, reaching a total count of 466,410 by January 12, 2024.

    The ongoing exodus marks a historic event as these individuals voluntarily return to their homeland. As of January 12, 2024, 796 Afghan citizens bid farewell to Pakistan, comprising 217 men, 207 women, and 372 children.

    The repatriation has been facilitated through the deployment of 36 vehicles, accommodating 55 families, ensuring a safe and organized return for the Afghan nationals.

    This coordinated effort has garnered attention for its scale and the willingness of the Afghan community to undertake the journey back to Afghanistan.
