The celebration of Pakistan Martyrs Day is going on at GHQ. On the occasion of Pakistan Martyrs Day, the main ceremony is going on at General Headquarters GHQ. Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir is the chief guest of the ceremony. The ceremony was started with the recitation of Holy Quran, after which the National Anthem was played.
Armed forces officers, former Army Chief General (Retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chairman Rawat Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Mufti Muneebur Rehman, national team captain Babar Azam and other personalities from various walks of life are also present in the ceremony.
On the other hand, celebrations will also be held at the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Naval Headquarters, Formation Headquarters and Police Martyrs Memorials.
Special programs and events will be held across the country today on Pakistan Martyrs' Day. Pakistan Martyrs' Day started with recitation of Quran after Fajr prayer and on this occasion, prayers were asked for security and peace of Pakistan.
On this occasion, special prayers were offered for those who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the holy land.
Scholars said that breathing in free air is owed to the martyrs of our country, which is their debt to us, today there is a need to close the distance with unity and unity.
On the occasion of Martyrs' Day, the heirs and people continue to visit the grave of Captain Sulaiman Shaheed.
The Pakistan Army troops presented a guard of honor and laid a wreath on the grave of Captain Sulaiman Shaheed.
Citizens say that our martyrs are our pride and will never let their respect decrease.
Today's main event will be held at Yadgar-i Shahada in GHQ Rawalpindi, in which Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir will be the chief guest.
Pakistan Air Force, Naval Headquarters, Formation Headquarters will also hold ceremonies on the memorials of martyrs.
Ceremonies will also be held at several police martyrs' memorials.
There will be solidarity walks for martyrs in other cities including Shahrah Dastur of Islamabad.
Quran recitation and prayers will also be done all day today for the reward of the martyrs.
