  • Pakistan to continue diplomatic, political support to Kashmiris till freedom: PM Shehbaz

    Prime Minister Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated that government and people of Pakistan will continue to extend diplomatic, political, and moral support to their Kashmiri brethren till they attain their cherished goal of freedom from India’s unlawful and forcible occupation.

    He was addressing a special session of the AJK Legislative in Muzaffarabad on Sunday.

    The Prime Minister said Pakistan has always laid emphasis on a peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute as per relevant UNSC resolutions and in accordance with the aspiration of the Kashmiri people.

    He said our blood is the same and every Pakistani pays a salute to the matchless sacrifices of the Hurriyat leaders and workers.

    Meanwhile President Dr Arif Alvi, in his messages on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, has urged the international community to take practical steps to hold India accountable for its gross and widespread human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

    President, in his message, also called upon India to allow unfettered access to the UN and OIC observers, international media and human rights organizations to IIOJK.

    He said we pay rich tribute to the selfless sacrifices made by our Kashmiri brothers and sisters during their decades-old resistance to the Indian occupation.

    Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Services Chiefs and Armed Forces of Pakistan pay tribute to the indigenous freedom struggle of brave Kashmiris for their right to self-determination as per UN resolutions and aspirations of people of Kashmir.

    In a tweet today, DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said no amount of human rights violations and atrocities can suppress the spirit of Kashmiris for freedom.
