ISLAMABAD: A local anti-terrorism court on Saturday ordered ex-president Pervez Musharraf to appear personally before the court on May 22 in Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case.
The court considered multiple applications from the counsel of the former president. On a plea of granting exemption from appearance, the court granted exemption for one day on Saturday but in the next hearing ordered Musharraf to appear personally.
On another application pertaining to removing Musharraf’s name from the case, the court issued notices to the federal government and the prosecution.
The hearing was adjourned till May 22, 2014.
