1. Processed Meats
According to researchers, if you consume such foods as sausages, ham and bacon, you run a higher risk to get cancer.
A study lasting for almost 13 years involved 10 European countries. The findings were published in the journal of BMC Medicine where it was warned that excessive salts and chemicals in meats are dangerous to our health.
The study has proved that people who consumed 160 g or more of various processed meats were 44% more likely to die prematurely within 12 years. Those who ate little of it (20 g or less) were healthier.
2. Soda Pop
Maybe it is time to reduce the amount of your daily soda drinks? It has been estimated that people can increase the risk of cancer by drinking at least one can of soda a day.

If we drink more soda, we gain more weight because of unnecessary calories. Besides, we became addicted to it. Besides, excessive sweeteners trigger insulin and make our cravings for the beverage even more severe.

3. Canned Tomatoes
The problem with canned tomatoes is the way they are packed and stored. Cans used to store tomatoes are lined with bisphenol-A (BPA).
Acidity of tomatoes causes this chemical to leach into the food. Studies show that the BPA causes damage and gene mutation.
The FDA also is concerned about it, so you really must minimize consumption of canned food. It is particularly important, if you are young, because BPA can impact fertility.
4. Excessively salty, pickled or smoked foods
Nitrates preserve meat and add color to it. It is believed that nitrates do not cause cancer.
However, there are some conditions why they can turn into N-nitroso composites inside our bodies. N-nitroso increases the risk of various cancers. So if you like salty and pickled foods, eat them less frequently.

Farm raised salmons cause cancer because they are contaminated. They have a lot of known cancerogenic elements such as antibiotics, chemicals, pesticides, etc. These fishe have 30 times more sea lice than their wild counterparts. T

6. Potato Chips
This very popular snack is one of the main reasons why there are so many obese people. You can eat just one potato chip a day and it will be enough for you to gain 2 pounds per year.
It was confirmed by a study, which was published in the New England Journal of medicine. Potato chips are saturated by trans-fats which should be at the top of your list of things to avoid eating. Trans-fats increase the level of cholesterol.

7. Hydrogenated oils
These type of oils are vegetable oils. It is an important thing because all these oils are extracted unnaturally different from the processes that are applied to make other fats like butter. Vegetable oils turn into poisons through processing because of used chemicals for deodorizing and coloring.
A lot of Omega–6 fatty acids and Omega- 6 fatty acids in vegetable oils can be dangerous for us. These acids can lead to skin cancer and various other cancers; also they can increase risk of heart disease.
If you want to avoid these problems, balance both Omega 3 and Omega 6. You should eat natural Omega 3, which is in fatty fish like mackerel or wild salmon and grass fed meats.
8. Microwave Popcorn
If you are still eating microwave popcorn, it is high time you started worrying. Although it is convenient to use these little packs of popcorn, this food is an absolute health nightmare!
