Pashto folk singer Mashooq Sultan passed away in Peshawar after a long illness today. Her funeral prayers were offered at Chugalpura, Peshawar at 2pm, reports Radio Pakistan.
Despite a 30-year career in music, Mashooq Sultan suffered poverty in the latter years of her life.
