Sarwat Gilani has called out Nadia Khan for bashing fellow actors for not speaking up during the India-Pakistan conflict.
Sarwat appeared on the Let’s Be Real show, where she took up several important issues, including Nadia Khan’s uncalled-for criticism of her peers in the industry.
During a conversation related to the entertainment fraternity, Sarwat stated that actors are very protective of one another.
She said: “I want to talk about Fawad Khan.
Many people are criticizing him for going to Dubai or somewhere for the promotion of his film please forgive him! He already had his project going on.
It’s his professionalism to finish that project. What they do is no one else’s business.”
She added: “This is my request to Nadia Khan. Please, Nadia Khan, you also did a lot of things in your life, in your time. Please don’t forget that. We all remember that.
So to condemn and downgrade someone like this, to shout at someone as if they are your house staff ,he’s actually a valuable asset to this country. Please speak with respect.”
Sarwat stressed: “People within the country do not appreciate it when others, whether local or foreign, make negative remarks. She stressed that a senior artist like Nadia Khan should use respectful and appropriate language.”
Nadia Khan had voiced strong criticism against several showbiz personalities and social media stars for remaining silent during heightened India-Pakistan tensions, allegedly to protect their YouTube views and social media fan following.
