NIG Postdoctoral Fellowship is a fully funded scholarship for international students. Period of employment is up to 3 years from the initial date of hire with reappointment on an annual basis. This fellowship will provide annual salary approx. 4,100,000 JPY including tax will be paid, mutual society of health insurance, commuting allowance (conditional), and compensation insurance.
4. MEXT University Recommendation Scholarship
MEXT University Recommendation Scholarships are fully funded scholarships for international students. These scholarships are available for masters and PhD. MEXT University Recommendation Scholarship will cover 100% of tuition, 144,000 JPY per month for living expenses and economy class air travel.
5. Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program
Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program is a fully funded masters scholarship for international students. JJ/WBGSP scholarship will cover the full tuition fee, accommodation, economy class air travel and monthly living stipend.
6. Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program
Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is available for PhD studies and provides the recipient with up to $42,750 net per fellow for an 8-month fellowship.
7. IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program
IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Program are fully funded PhD scholarships for international students. International Mathematical Union Scholarship value is up to a maximum of USD 10,000 per year and cover tuition fee, accommodation, travel expenses and living expenses.
8. Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowships
Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowship is a funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is valued at maximum of USD 50,000 per year for a PhD and maximum of USD 40,000 per year for a Post-doc and may be renewed through to completion of studies.

10. Human Frontier Science Program Postdoctoral Fellowships

HFSP Fellowships will provide a living allowance as well as a research and travel allowance. Depending on their specific situation fellows may also qualify to receive a child allowance, a parental leave allowance, and a relocation allowance.
11. IIE-SRF Fellowship
IIE-SRF Fellowship is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is offered for doctoral research studies. IIE-SRF Fellowship covers a grant of up to US$25,000, along with individual health insurance, to support a visiting academic appointment of up to one year.
