The wondrous valley of Khaplu is located in the Northern areas of Pakistan, known as Gilgit Baltistan, and is a cultural, unique, nature-filled place, with welcoming people and indescribable cuisine.
It is a fascinating place to visit with low crime rates and less pollution. The people there will surely make you feel at home with their hospitality. The charming and peaceful nature includes lush green trees and plants, flowing rivers, lakes, and streams of water. The different cuisine is delicious and zestful, with traditional foods and drinks like; pink tea and dumplings, which are made in their own style.
A long time ago, the old fort called, “The Khaplu Palace,” was lived by the ‘Raja’ (meaning king). It is now a museum, containing historic items that are eye-catching. The view from the top of the palace is mesmerizing, where you can see all of Khaplu! There are many more places that are extraordinary in Khaplu too. One of the favorite games there is the game called ‘polo,’ and is adored by the citizens. It is similar to hockey, but instead, it is on horseback, in a large field. camping Khaplu goes through all the seasons; summer, spring, autumn, and winter. Summer and Spring there is slightly cold, but pleasant. Autumn is slightly colder, and winter is more colder, with heavy snowfall, and is the time to wear a few layers of warm clothing. Winter is the time when children love to play in the snow. But a reasonable time to visit would be in Summer or Spring. Various fruits and dry fruits can be found there, too. They include; Apricots, Almonds, Mulberries, White berries, Strawberries, Blueberries, and Apples. Lots of berries! The national animal in Pakistan, called “Markhor,” can be found here in Khaplu as well.
