  • PM announces to establish LPG air mix plant in Gilgit-Baltistan

    Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday said the government is committed to socio-economic uplift of Gilgit Baltistan.

    Talking to Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman in Islamabad, the PM also announced that a Liquefied Petroleum Gas Air Mix plant would be established in Gilgit-Baltistan to benefit 10,000 energy consumers.

    He said the LPG plant will significantly reduce usage of forest wood.

    Separately, talking to Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad in Islamabad, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has urged all the parliamentarians to put forward their proposals for legislation to serve the public interest.

    He appreciated the role of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and said that it was immensely encouraging to see the parliamentarians actively participating in the legislative business.

    Sheikh Aftab briefed the premier on Sustainable Development Goals program of the government and the progress in its implementation.

    Air Chief Sohail Aman also called on the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Islamabad and discussed matters pertaining to operational preparedness of PAF.
