Lal Masjid khateeb and member of Taliban peace committee Maulana Abdul Aziz has expressed concerns over points of dialogues, presented by the government.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Maulana Abdul Aziz said that the government wants to talks about peace within the limits of the constitution but those who they are negotiating with don’t believe in it. He also expressed reservations over the demands made by the government’s talks committee.

He said the government’s demand to hold negotiation within the parameters of the constitution will delay the process. Maulana urged the government to remove the condition of holding talks under the constitution.

“That should be the law in Pakistan and until the committee brings this point on the agenda I won't be part of negotiations,” he told reporters. “I won't participate in talks until they include a clause about the imposition of Islamic law,” he said.
