The law-enforcement agencies on Friday took in custody two daughters of Qaiser—a terrorist who was killed during a police action in Thursday’s wee hours in Rawalpindi and began interrogations with them.

It should be mentioned here that the terrorist’s both the daughters—Itrat and Aqsa—have been studying in Islamabad’s Jamia Hafsa, a subsidiary of Lal Masjid for quite some time.

The girls’ father, Qaiser Mustafa was a terrorist who was gunned down during an armed encounter with law-enforcers in Thursday’s dark hours in Rawalpindi area of Jorian.

The encounter by Counter terrorism Department (CTD) police and security forces lasted for almost eight hours.

A sub-inspector of Elite Force, Irshad, embraced martyrdom in attack by the terrorists during a search operation in Thursday’s wee hours. At least three militants including two women were killed and four others were arrested during the action.

According to police, the search operation was launched overnight on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the city area of Jorian village in Saddar.

Three personnel of Elite Force sustained serious wounds. All of them are being treated at Rawalpindi District headquarters Hospital.

Two extremists blew themselves up during the search operation.

Sources said that one of the deceased terrorists was a close aide of Punjab home minister Shuja Khanzada’s attacker Qari Sohail.

The deceased, identified as Abid alias Qaiser Mustafa, was wanted in Khanzada attack case, they added.
