US President Donald Trump is not worried about the prospect of being impeached by Democrats.
"I think that the people would revolt if that happened," Trump said in a new interview with Reuters.
In that interview, he also spoke out for the first time about new documents filed by prosecutors detailing the alleged crimes of his former lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Cohen has said he made hush payments to two women accusing Trump of infidelity in the waning days of the 2016 campaign.
Asked by Reuters if he discussed campaign finance law with Cohen, Trump said: "Michael Cohen is a lawyer. I assume he would know what he's doing.''
He added: "Number one, it wasn't a campaign contribution. If it were, it's only civil, and even if it's only civil, there was no violation based on what we did. OK?''

Trump's comments come after Democrats raised the prospect of impeachment, if it was proven that he directed illegal hush money payments to women.
"There's a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him, that he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time," said Rep Adam Schiff, the incoming chairman of the House intelligence committee.
"The bigger pardon question may come down the road as the next president has to determine whether to pardon Donald Trump."
John Dean, a White House counsel under US President Richard Nixon who received jail time for his role in the Watergate scandal, said allegations against Trump detailed in new court filings give Congress "little choice" other than to begin impeachment proceedings.
