  • China, EU jointly promoting free trade

    China and European Union have agreed to jointly work to promote multilateralism, and support free trade. 

    The agreement was reached during 20th China-European Union (EU) leaders' meeting co-chaired by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, European Council President Donald Tusk, and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.  

    They have also agreed to share the joint responsibility to safeguard the rules-based international order and promote world peace.

    They have agreed to collaborate in the sphere of free trade especially in the field of economic activities.

    They are of the view that through free trade they can promote peace throughout the world and abolish the chances of conflict.
